This auto loudspeaker features some of JBL's best technology. Its HCL woofer cone is exceptionally stiff, yet lightweight for increased efficiency, exceptional midrange clarity and lower distortion at high-output levels. Its oversized voice coils increase power handling while minimizing distortion. Its spider-integrated tinsel leads enhance reliability and eliminate audible tinsel lead slap. Its Plus One woofer cones, with more surface area than competing models of the same size, offer increased bass output and increased efficiency. Its computer-optimized, passive crossover has been voice-matched to ensure optimum imaging, clarity and detail. And its high-bandwidth, edge-driven textile dome tweeters provide reduced distortion at high-output levels.
