Developed to commemorate Morel's 45th anniversary, this sleek subwoofer amplifier features gold-plated wiring connections, a specially designed internal signal path, low-noise Class D architecture, low tolerance surface mount electronic components, and computerized thermal control — all to give you the most accurate musical reproduction possible.

High-performance bass

The MPS 1.1100 Limited amplifier can power a subwoofer with up to 1,100 watts RMS — plenty enough to rock your ride with the loud clean bass you'll enjoy. The low-pass and subsonic filters, bass boost, and gain controls sit protected under a top panel. Their intuitive operations and functions make it easy to match the amp's output for your sub and achieve great sound. An optional wired remote lets you control the bass from your front seat. The amp's speaker-level inputs can handle even the amplified signals from a premium factory system.

Controls:

• Input Level: rotary dial labeled min/max, the voltage range depends on how the input voltage switch is set (high/low)
• Turn On Mode: three position switch to set how the amp is turned on; Remote (+12 volts on the remote terminal), Signal (senses an input signal voltage), Offset (reads a DC offset in the input signal; typically only used when "Remote" isn't an option and the "Signal" setting doesn't work reliably)
• Subsonic: three position subsonic filter switch; Off, 25 Hz, 35 Hz
• Filter Frequency: low pass filter frequency (crossover point); rotary dial; 40 Hz to 220 Hz (the crossover cannot be bypassed)
• Bass Boost: centered at 45 Hz, the bass boost circuit is adjustable from 0 to +12 dB
• Input Voltage:
  • Low: 200mV-4V; typically used with line level outputs from an after-market source
  • High: 800mV-20V; typically used with speaker level outputs

Connections

• Signal Input: the amplifier has one pair RCA jack inputs; accepts preamp or speaker level signals
• Signal Output: one pair RCA jack outputs can feed a second amplifier; none of the controls on this amp impact these outputs
• Remote Level Control: 3.5mm jack for use with an optional MPS-R1 wired remote (sold separately)
• Speaker Outputs: two pair of set screw terminals; internally shorted together, making it easy to wire two subs inparallel; accept up to 10-gauge wire
• Remote Turn-On: set screw terminal; accepts up to 12-gauge wire
• Power and Ground: set screw terminals; accept up to 4-gauge wire; 4-gauge minimum recommended by Morel
