I have a sx18d2 in 5.5 cubes in my 95 cougar xr7 running 2 agm batts and stock alt. Pushing this monster of a sub is a crescendo symphony 1500.1 @1 ohm it beats. I live in MN and when the woofer warms up it def clears the ice off the trunk. Worth every penny for this woofer and 1k is a serious lowball it could take 1500-2k no doubt on a daily.
