The Eclipse iPC-409 iPod cable adapter allows select iPod portable digital music players to be connected to and controlled by the Eclipse AVN4430. All the iPod's buttons will be disabled when connected to this adapter and the iPod will be controlled from the head unit (the TomTom PND must be docked). Music and videos stored on the connected iPod can be played when connected to the unit. While connected, the AVN4430 will power the iPod, and charge the iPod's battery. You can perform playlist, album, artist, genre, or song searches. Playback functions include track up/down, fast forward/rewind, track repeat, track random play, and album random play. Display selections include song, album, or artist.

Note: This adapter will not charge the iPod touch 2nd generation, or iPod nano 4th generation. The adapter is not compatible with iPhone/iPhone3G.
