HELIX goes High End: The new component systems of the COMPETITION series were consequently designed for excellent and natural sound reproduction to create audiophile speaker systems at an extraordinary price/performance ratio. To meet the high COMPETITION quality standards, each speaker is handcrafted and thoroughly inspected. The construction of the passive crossover is also uncompromising: the expensive-looking black circuit board is embedded between a black base plate and a clear plexiglass panel, air coils and foil capacitors produce clean and contoured mid-basses as well as pleasing but powerful general sound characteristics.
