The durable Santoprene rubber surround attaches to the bottom of the cone for enhanced excursion and a clean look. The subwoofer's tinsel leads are also integrated into the spider for longer excursion. Engineers at MB Quart have allowed for voice coil cooling through a 360° vent, in addition to a pole piece vent. And you can wire up this 12" speaker as either a 8-ohm or 2-ohm sub, so you'll have plenty of options when building your system. MB Quart has created a subwoofer that handles plenty of power and produces deep, clean bass.
