I bought the 5 Channel Phantom series PPI amplifier and liked it so much went ahead and bought the same series monoblock 1000 D. These Amps do what they say and I feel lucky to have owned them. They are still blasting away in my fox body Mustang.

After two failed units with physical damage, I'm done with this junk

Ordered one of these. Got it in, front fascia fell off right away. No big deal, I didn't buy it for looks. Installed, had a high hum. Bench test confirmed hum issue, returned.

Got a new one. Front fascia fell off. Bench tested it, ran great. 15 minutes in the car, a new hum starts in, gets louder over time. Pull it and bench test, hum is now permanent.

Popped an old Zapco into the car for a 30 minute test. No issues at all.

After hours of install and two damaged, failing pieces of junk, I'm done. Maybe you can't get quality power at this price.
