I got one of these from a JL dealer and it's nasty this sub is capable of 145-147db just by itself and two in the right car can easily do 150db and with JL amps being so efficient and having the rips technology you never have shut downs unless you almost have a dead electrical system or just get the amp hot enough to cook a egg on then it will just roll back the wattage to protect itself. You get what you pay for with JL yes you can get louder for less but you want sound as good and most amps take huge electrical systems to run where the JL's don't. All I have is 1 1000watt battery in my trunk and I never have a problem and I ain't even done the big 3 or anything else to my electrical system. Try that with almost any other 1200watt system see how many watts you really get.
